Wirtshaus Waldquelle in Ramsau

Fast & great service, great ambience despite the large dining room, nice service, the food is not long in coming. The food is very tasty and the price-performance ratio is also good. I can only recommend.

We have been going on vacation to Ramsau for years and have been eating in the Waldquelle for just as long, before the renovation it was very cozy and the food was very tasty. Now after the renovation it is just as cozy as before but even more inviting because in my opinion everything looks brighter and is more modern. The forest source can warmly recommend the food and ambience cannot be topped.

The food wasn't that great! The trout miller should be fresh, was still cold inside. I thought it was out of the freezer. The staff was very friendly.

Great restaurant with very tasty cuisine and nice service. We went there several times on our last vacation because it was delicious every time. Our tip is the homemade burger. We would love to come back. There is a star deduction for the dining room atmosphere.

Very friendly staff. Very flexible, despite a full shop and no reservation, something was made possible. The food was also fantastic.

Good breakfast, nice staff, I only gave three stars because I couldn't get to know the full service. For me, three stars are not negative, but rather neutral.

Very, very tasty food and very friendly and fast service! Today we had the pumpkin soup and the turkey steak with pumpkin sauce and the pork loin with mushroom cream sauce and everything was delicious! Gladly again!

The service was very friendly. The food came quickly and the taste was really unique! The pumpkin cream soup is a poem and the wild schnitzel is very good too. Absolute recommendation

Unfortunately not everything was great. The steaks were English instead of medium. The fries are still almost raw and the turkey schnitzel is riddled with bloody tendons. The staff was very friendly, the distance of 1.50 between the seated guests was not always strictly adhered to.

From the outside the restaurant was very attractive, but when we were accompanied to the table it was a different picture. Many tables and guests were accommodated in the large hall, which makes this restaurant look a bit commercial The onion soup was very tasty, the main course, chicken breast fillet, a bit tough. The fries were cooked in the oven, unfortunately not in the deep fryer. Price-performance ratio was okay.

This is just the place where I would go if I am in Ramsau and the surrounding area. It is even worth some driving times. The food is very tasty, there is also a daily menu with regional, seasonal and surprising dishes. We were in Ramsau for a week and were here 3 times in total. The staff is super friendly, happy to advise and are happy to help if you overeat the delicious meal. I can only repeat myself. You just MUST go here when you are around.

A few days ago we were in the Waldquelle inn, nice atmosphere, nice view and friendly staff. The Alm-Schnitzel from the menu of the day was unfortunately very tough, the sauce was very salty and the salad was almost without dressing. Maybe we were just unlucky, but unfortunately only 2 stars.

We were absolutely thrilled with the food. Very tasty and a nice portion, as there was enough meat on the plate. The waitresses were from the region, as you can tell. Nice and gave us tips and were there for questions. We'll go back here whenever we're in the area. Keep it up

Great here! You don't want to go home. Very good cuisine and cheerful service. Reservation is currently necessary, but if you are nearby, you should ask whether something is free. The in-house honey products are always available.

An absolutely recommendable address when it comes to hearty food. For four years vacation in Ramsau we mostly like to come here to start and finish. Friendly staff, delicious food and often music too. Don't be put off by the menu (Bavarian, Pizza, Asian). The forest spring has it all and everyone gets their taste.

We came to the Waldquelle inn on recommendation. To make a long story short, I can confirm that 100 percent. Super delicious food at a great price. Staff very friendly. Tables are cleaned thoroughly as soon as the guest leaves. If we are in the Berchtesgadener Land again, we are guaranteed to eat here again !!

Very well attended restaurant, so make a reservation if possible! Food still has some room for improvement, especially in terms of quality. Tasty but good. The interior is reminiscent of a dining room, relatively new Everything! Staff friendly and attentive.

Certainly one of the best places in the area. They only serves best, fresh and homemade food in original style with great portions to a very reasonable price!!! The service and kitchen is marvelous!!!

Superlecker ????

I had to wait more than 1,5 HOURS for a pizza. Staff said that there was a problem with their system, but apparently it only affected our table? Other tables around us got their food a lot quicker. If a problem is so serious, then maybe you should tell us about it, so we could order something else, or we could just leave? Waiting 1,5 hours for standard pizza is unacceptable. The food itself was average. Too much oil on the pizzas.

Great view while eating a delicious meal. The pork tenderloin was one of the best I jave eatten

This place is really nice. Try to get a table by the windows to look outside to see the mountains. Service was good. I would say it’s very moderately priced. We were a party of 3 and paid around 60 euros for drinks, 3 main dishes and one dessert. Food is decent too. I wouldn’t say it’s the best German food I have had but it’s good! Fantastic location.

Love this place in Ramsau. Food is always delicious, beer cool and tastes good and the atmosphere is very charming. Especially when local families come in traditional costumes, women in dirndls and men in leather trousers. Do not miss if in or around Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden because this is real Bavaria :-)

Very nice service and food. There's no English menu but the waiter explained me the menu nicely and recommended me great food. The steak and the pork with mushroom were excellent. We ran into a regular concert performance on Thursday every two weeks. Really recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Ramsao :)
